Grand Indonesia - an Icon of Splendor and Grandeur

Grand Indonesia is a mix-used development comprises of
Grand Indonesia Shopping Town (high end shopping centre) Kempinski Hotel Indonesia (hotel) Kempinski Residence (55 stories apartment) and Wisma BCA (55 stories office tower)

located on the side of Jakarta's famed traffic circle Bundaran HI. It is built on the site of former Hotel Indonesia and Hotel Inna wisata. The site occupies a 7 ha government-owned land while the US$242 million project is funded by a major cigarette company Djarum under 30-year BOT contract.
Grand Indonesia Shopping Town with over eight levels of shopping experience spread in two main builing linked by an integrated bridge is currently South East Asia's largest shopping centre. It is also the first in Asia to use the special lighting effects usually used in the filming industry. A eleven screens cineplex, Blitz Megaplex have opened in March 2007 while Seibu, Japanese departement store, will be opened on April 2007. The operation and management of the mall is awarded to Jones Lang LaSalle while hotel and apartments is awarded to the Kempinski international hotel chain. BCA, the leading national bank, will occupy most of the office floors.

About the Mall :

  • Specialty District : Spanning the first 3 levels of the mall, this zone features posh, luxurious interiors with cozy lighting and refined details aimed at heightening the shopping experience for well-heeled shoppers visiting the high end retail brands situated in these floors who appreciate the exclusivity and refinement in their daily routine. Some tenants are : Harvey Nichols, Bottega Venetta, Louis Vuitton, Armani, bebe, Mango VIP, Giordano Boys & Girls, Chloe, Channel, and other international brand.
  • Main Mall District : The next 3 levels of the mall will exude a vibrant and trendy ambience. As the main thoroughfare of the mall, this zone will be bustling with shoppers looking out for the latest trends in casual and executive fashion, as well as health, beauty and general merchandise for the cosmopolitan shopper.
  • Crossroads of the World : The top 2 levels will become the hightlight of the Grand Indonesia Shopping Experience. Created and designed by world leading theme park, Gary Goddard Entertainment, the Crossroads of the World will be another masterpiece that is set to wow tourist and local audiences by offering cross-cultural experiential shopping experience.

When you visit this mall, don't forget to watch the fountain show at the Entertainment District in Crossroads of the World. The shows aired every hour, from 13.00 - 22.00 in Monday - Friday, 13.00 - 24.00 in weekend.
